A note from Pastor Owen (Jan 29, 2012)

Most of us who have been around for a while have discovered that you can't receive Jesus Christ into your heart without accepting the values of His Kingdom into our lives. Living for Jesus is always a “whole-life" proposition. It always means a change of heart, a change of values, a change of lifedirection and a change of priorities. God has saved us, not just so we can be forgiven and go to heaven, but to use us to fulfill God's purposes on the earth. If we are going to make a difference in this world, we must, quite simply, put God's purposes first in our lives...before career, security or good times. It is no accident that we are alive at this moment of history. We are here for a reason. It's time to start growing. It's time to yield our lives completely for His Kingdom purposes. A prayer for this week... "Dear God, What are your loving purposes for this world and how do you want to use my life and gifts to advance your Kingdom in the world? Please let me join you in what you are doing. Please use me! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
