A note from Pastor Owen (Feb 12, 2012)

There are times when you don't feel led to pray for people or situations...you just want to look on the Lord's face and tell him how much you love Him. The phrase I most often repeat to the Father is, 'I love you Lord...I love you...I love you'. There is another phrase that is also repeated often and that is, 'I surrender all to you. I surrender all to you'. It has become a refrain for me. Sometimes I add to this the words of Thomas, the disciple...'My Lord and my God…My Lord and my God!' (John 20:28) In the midst of a busy schedule, I have found myself rushing from appointment to appointment, quietly talking to the Lord, saying 'Thank you Jesus...Thank you Jesus'. On other occasions, instead of speaking in English, I will find myself praying in the Spirit using my 'heavenly prayer language' offering up sweet mysteries to our lovely Lord Jesus. It is possible to 'pray at all times' and 'rejoice in the Lord at all times'. We simply begin to see ourselves as portable tabernacles where adorations are offered up continually from the altar of our hearts.
