Val Scott

Office Manager aka Straightener of Duck Rows aka Lord of the Phone Rings

Val Scott is the church’s office manager but does so much more than that. There are few people that know all the juggling, catching and “jumping in” Val does and with a smile on her face.

Val was born in Dublin, Ireland. Their family left Ireland when she was five where after they lived in several small towns in Saskatchewan
After high school I attended Full Gospel Bible College in Eston, Sask.

Val attended Secretarial College and then got married to a wonderful man and became a “pastor’s wife”. They lived in Regina, Fruitvale, and Calgary. Val started working in the office at Full Gospel Bible College while Owen was a part of the faculty there. They then moved back to Regina where Owen became Associate Pastor and Val worked in the church office there. Then in 1986 they came to Vancouver and Valley Church and Val started working in the church office at Valley church.
